PAYDAY 2 est un jeu de braquage multi-joueurs développé par Overkill. Chaque partie inclut quatre braqueurs, le but est de réaliser les objectifs en fonction du casse.
Plusieurs cartes sont disponibles avec des thèmes différents (banque, bijouterie, fourgon blindé…). On peut également y choisir la difficulté.
A chaque mission réussie, on augmente de niveau. Le but est d’arriver à 100 et de passer infamie I (= le niveau et la réputation du braqueur). Dès lors que l’on atteint un palier d’infamie, le niveau se remet à zéro pour ensuite atteindre le niveau 100 de nouveau et passer infamie II et ainsi de suite.
Le jeu est stimulant et très bien fait. Et c’est encore mieux quand les autres joueurs de la partie sont efficaces. De plus il y a de nombreux trophées, certains sont simples et d’autres vraiment difficiles.
En revanche, et c’est un point important à souligner, il y a de nombreux bugs dans le jeu. On a l’impression que plus personne ne fait de mise à jour. Comme s’il était à l’abandon. Ma partie a déjà crashé plusieurs fois. Par exemple, j’étais infamie III niveau 65 (pour atteindre les infamies il faut de nombreuses heures de jeu), puis soudain ma partie bug et je me retrouve à zéro, comme si je venais de commencer le jeu pour la première fois. C’est vraiment frustrant, même si derrière il y a des sauvegardes, ce n’est pas normal.
Ce détail gâche vraiment tout le jeu alors que de base il est excellent.
Par ailleurs, j’ai lu qu’un PAYDAY 3 était prévu pour 2023 et que les développeurs recherchaient un éditeur. J’ai vraiment hâte d’y jouer, en espérant qu’il n’y aura pas autant de bugs dans celui-ci.
